Pack Events Communication
Detailed Pack 40 events are provided to parents via invitation only eVites and the Pack 40 private group on the Band App. General information about upcoming events can be found on the Pack 40 website and Instagram account. The Pack 40 will have monthly meetings and many events throughout the year. They are not required, but are encouraged.
Den Events Communication
Each den leader will have their own form of communication to the den parents. This is typically done through text message, email correspondence, or private scheduling apps. The frequency of each den meeting varies depending on the rank but averages one to four times per month.
Cub Scout Camping & Other Events
The Western Los Angeles County Council and the Bill Hart District plan many opportunities throughout the year for the Scouts to participate in including day and overnight camps around the Los Angeles area. For a list of camping events, please visit the website at BSA Events.
Additionally, there is an annual Cub Cup where dens from Pack 40 can compete with other local packs in the area.
