Our pack is open to any boy or girl in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Our pack services families in Valencia and throughout the Santa Clarita valley.

Scouts can join at any rank!

Pack 40 has monthly meetings that include awards ceremonies, the Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold, annual Holiday Party, etc. These meetings are not required.
Each den meets one to four times per month depending on your rank. These meetings are for the scouts to work toward required and elective activities in your rank.

2025 Cub Scout fees include (per scout):
BSA Bill Hart Council Fee ($160 as of 2024) - Starting 2025, BSA Bill Hart Council will reach out to each scout family directly for annual fee;
2025 Pack 40 Dues ($192 for Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelo);
2025 Pack 40 Dues ($45 for Arrow of Light);
Prorated fees apply depending on when your scout joins.
Each rank will need a Scout Handbook ($24 as of 2024) and used throughout the year. Other fees to consider: cost of your cub scout uniform and some pack events may have fees for participation. Event fees are relayed in the eVite and Band app.

You can click “REQUEST MORE INFORMATION” at the link above and a Pack 40 Committee Member will reach out to you once the information is completed. We invite your scout and family to experience one of our events to make sure we are a good fit for your family. Then we will provide you with the information to complete all the required forms, pay the fees, meet your den, and begin your scouting adventure!
